Our Story
"When Granddad Rosik said many years ago, that one of the goals of the Czechoslovakian Vlciak breed is to "Conquer the World", many giggled. But Granddads predictions were correct - where we breeders saw one hill, he saw over another seven - and we confirm today, that he was and is right!"
- Quote by Jan Polony (History of Czechoslovakian Vlciak by Peter Nevolny)
The Czechoslovakian Vlciak Club of America, Inc. (CSVCA) is the National Breed Club "parent club" for the Czechoslovakian Vlciak and the primary guardian of the Czechoslovakian Vlciak breed in the United States of America. The CSVCA was founded in 2001 by a group of Czechoslovakian Vlciak enthusiasts in North America. The CSVCA members determine the breed standard and code of ethics, and they participate in a variety of competitive dog events. The club is dedicated to the well-being of Czechoslovakian Vlciak through education, cooperation, and training. Through our not-for-profit, we support health research and rescue efforts. We also have a legislative liaison who works with the American Kennel Club Government Relations Department to provide information to members and the public about animal welfare issues giving Czechoslovakian Vlciak enthusiasts tools to shape the policies affecting our interests and breed. We welcome new members. Please visit our Join CSVCA page to learn more about the benefits of CSVCA membership.
