Czechoslovakian Vlčák to Czechoslovkian Vlciak
On January 09, 2024, the American Kennel Club Board of Directors approved the breed’s name change from Czechoslovakian Vlčák to Czechoslovkian Vlciak. This change is due to the fact diacritical marks are not used in the USA and to be in consistence with country of origin. This will prevent any errors with translation. Listen to the correct pronunciation provided by KCHČSV (Sovak Republic) Chief Breeding Advisor, Janka Brussová Tarkaničová below.
